Momusu M3 Grand Prix – Update 10/26

Greetings, Citizens of the Universe!

If you’ve been watching a little space called the M3 Grand Prix page, then you’d know that we’re approaching the home stretch regarding that event. Yeah… that little dual-tournament announced back in January is nearing its end. Can you believe it?

Which brings us to this point, which is the first “update” made on the main blog in who knows how long. What has happened since early January? Well, unless you want to dig through months of Tumblr posts, let’s dig into the current status of the Momusu M3 Grand Prix!

Tournament Winners

First thing’s first: let’s announce the bracket winners of the Members and Singles Tournaments.

Members Tournament

Winners

  • Upper Bracket Winner: Oda Sakura
  • Middle Bracket Winner: Kaga Kaede
  • Bottom Bracket Winner: Fukumura Mizuki

Following the results of the Wild Card Match (of which the one with the best results will fill in the last slot), the four winners will enter into the Final Round to determine the champion.

Wild Card Match

Please pick 3. In the event of a tie, a winner will be picked based on overall tournament performance.

Final Thoughts

Even now, I can’t believe we’re reaching this point. Again, thank you so much for your support throughout these months.

This also goes without saying, but thank you, Hello! Project, for all of the fun. It’s been a wacky 20+ years and here’s to the next anniversary.

While the 20th anniversary celebrations are dying down, best keep them as strong as we can. I hope you will continue to enjoy these festivities.

In fact, I know a great example of keeping the fun alive already: the Haruna Iikubo Graduation Message Album. It’s currently open for submissions, but don’t sleep on it: it closes on November 15th!

Thank you very much for your support and please continue to support M3, your fellow fans, and the idols that inspire them.

Now to speculate on what that big Maachan scoop is… which had nothing to do with her and isn’t that much of a scoop.
