Greetings, Citizens of the Universe!
How are you on this Wednesday morning? Still sore from the election? (You can bet your butt I am….)
Let’s take a breather from that discussion. Allow me to tell you a tale.
I’m washing dishes early Saturday morning and I decide to take a break. I hit up Twitter and is greeted with a tweet from Up-Front Link with the words “Concerning Tsugunaga Momoko,” complete with a smiling Momoko.
“She’s graduating, isn’t she?” I thought to myself and tapped the link. It is there that I received confirmation of what’s to come.
It is sad to see Momoko go. However, let’s think about it. She mentioned her stay in Country Girls will last only two or so years and her choice in studies mae it clear about her path in life. Granted, Otsuka Ai studied teaching so she’d become a kindergarten teacher in the event her music career didn’t take off. However, there’s a difference between a singer-songwriter signed with Avex and a longtime idol in UFA.
Still, I wish Momoko the best in her future endeavors. With her proven mentoring skills, she’ll make a fine teacher. Who knows? Maybe (at least) one of her students will become a idol just like she used to be, essentially carrying on her previous work.
Let’s follow in Momochi’s example and spread positivity and leave a peachy scent wherever we go. We grieved at her announcement because of the impact she’s made on us. Let’s honor people like her who make this short but troubling life even a little more bearable.
P.S. I made a special update on the M3 Tumblr.
P.S.S. The results of the 4K topic poll has been announced!
