H-O-K-K-A-I-D-O-U

Greetings Citizens of the Universe!

How are you today? I’m still preparing for next week. However, the quarter is on now and it’ll be a while before I can get some reviews in.

However, I also noticed that there was a space for this week. So, what to talk about? I know!

During that busy summer, I forgot to talk about a small group of little ladies.

Meet the Girls!

Ota Haruka (太田遥香)

Sato Hikari (佐藤光)

Ishiguri Kanami (石栗奏美)

Kawano Minori (河野みのり)

Kitagawa Ryo (北川亮)

Ryo has a particular honor of being the only Kenshuusei Hokkaido member (so far) to not be from Sapporo.

Kudo Yume (工藤由愛)

Yamazaki Mei (山﨑愛生)

The newly formed branched was announed on July 16th with its members being revealed on the 30th during the H!P 2016 Summer tour.

You can watch a digest of the reveal (and debut performance below):

They have since been involved in various activities in their native Hokkaido:

  • Participated at the Hokkaido Idol Basket vol. 45 at Zepp Sapporo on October 2nd.
  • An appearance on Up-Front Sapporo member Itou Sana’s radio show “Hello! to meet you”.
  • The opening act of “IDOL DIVERSITY” at Zepp Sapporo.

Let’s cheer these girls on, shall we?

(If there’s any other topics from the summer that I missed, feel free to let me know in the comments below.)

Until next time!

Ryo really stood out for me, cuz dammmnn she looks so mature! (In a good way) Also not your typical H!P girl either. With Tsunku stepping down, Taisei (is it Taisei?) has chosen some very non-H!P girls thus far.
