Greetings, Citizens of the Universe!
As I’m (first) writing this, news has been broken for five hours now, but it’ll still be days before you’ll see this. It was announced that Kasahara Momona, co-Public Vote Winner of the 2016 Diagnostic Test, is joining ANGERME as its sole 5th Generation member!
Here is her basic profile, courtesy of Up-Front Link:
Date of Birth: October 22nd 2003 (12 years old)
Birthplace: Kanagawa Prefecture
Blood Type: A
Special Skill: Ballet (9 years), acrobatics
Musical Genre she likes: Classical music
3 ANGERME songs she likes: “Dondengaeshi”, “Gashinshoutan”, “Jitensha Chiririn”
With 9 years of ballet experience, we can expect this newly-fledged angel to be a graceful one.
(I speak as someone who briefly took ballet when she was young. I have a lot of respect for anyone who has over a year of experience.)
According to her introductory interview with UFL-Staff, she looks forward to interacting with the fans, including foreign ones. Momona particularly has an interest in going to France and “Italia” [sic] (something local fans can happily agree with). Surprised at the announcement of her membership, she hopes to improve her singing and lyric-learning abilities, in addition to the “dance and acrobatics” ANGERME is known for.
With this announcement, this pushes the promotion rate of Awarded Kenshuusei to:
- 8 honorees (36.36%) having properly debuted within H!P
- 3 (37.5%) having joined ANGERME (Murota Mizuki, Sasaki Rikako, Kasahara Momona)
Congrats to Kasahara Momona on joining the Crying Angel Choir! This was the pick-me-up I needed as (at the time) I’ve been having some awkward days lately.
